Signs of the Times

Time. It constantly moves forward. We check it on multiple occasions throughout the day. It indicates where we need to be and when. We set reminders on our phone so we have the time we need to prepare for important events.

The Body of Christ is stepping over into a whole new time and season. Change is all around, but there’s no alarm or fear inside. The time of the end of all things is at hand. “This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled” (Mt. 24:34).

Let’s take every opportunity to bring in the harvest in these last days. “And this Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come” (Mt. 24:14).

“The coming of the Lord draweth nigh” (Js. 5:8). How do we prepare for His coming?

  • Be faithful— It’s vital that we obey every prompting—every leading of the Holy Spirit. “Whatsoever He says to you, do it” (John 2:5).

  • Fulfil your ministry—Surrender to everything God has for you. Say yes to His will and plan for your life. “Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfill it” (Colossians 4:17).

  • Watch and pray As C. Nuzum said, “Watchfulness is the price of constant victory.” And 1 Peter 4:7 says, “But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.”

“Looking for and hasting (to speed, to urge on, to eagerly await) unto the coming of the day of God…” (2 Peter 3:12). Soon and very soon, we are going to see the King. It’s time to prepare for His coming.
